Best Polymarket Tools and Analytics Platforms (2026)

Polymarket tooling splits into six jobs: tracking whales and holders, screening markets, watching Perps funding and open interest, attaching identity to on-chain wallets, pulling raw data through an API, and finding the rest in a directory. As of September 2026 the strongest free stack is Polymarket's own public APIs and leaderboard, an on-chain explorer for wallet history, and a dedicated whale feed on top. PolymarketFlow is one of those whale feeds and it is ours, so read our section as what we built, not a neutral review.

Whale and holder trackers

A whale is a trader holding an unusually large position, and the data is public. Polymarket's Data API publishes market holders — "the largest public holders for each outcome token in a market" — plus recent trades and open interest; most trackers repackage that with alerts and a better interface. Polymarket's own leaderboard shows 20 traders per page ranked by Profit/Loss or Volume across Today, Weekly, Monthly and All: good for who is up, useless for what they hold now.

Polywhaler covers Polymarket and Kalshi, flagging trades of $10,000 and up and scoring each 0-100 "based on unusual size, odds, timing, and context", with smart-money leaderboards and Discord and Telegram alerts. Its free tier covers the live feed, watchlists and leaderboard; paid tiers from $4.92 a month billed annually, or $9 month-to-month, add custom alerts, with a REST API and full history on the top tier.

On our side, the whale tracker ranks largest holders with Smart Money Scores, the alerts feed pushes them live, and biggest Polymarket bets collects the week's largest new positions.

The limit: a large position is not a signal — it can be a hedge, market-maker inventory, or a bet about to lose. Our whale tracking guide covers reading one without over-reading it.

Screeners, odds trackers and the resolution calendar

Screening cuts thousands of markets down to the few you can act on, and the data is public: Gamma handles market discovery, the CLOB API serves prices and order books.

Our screener filters on volume, price and anomalies, movers ranks the biggest 24-hour repricings, all live markets is the plain list, and two heavily traded questions get pages: midterm odds and Fed rate cut odds. The overlooked tool is the resolution calendar: what settles in the next 31 days decides when your capital comes back and when liquidity thins.

ElectionBettingOdds, run by Maxim Lott and John Stossel, aggregates election odds across Polymarket, Kalshi, Betfair, PredictIt and Smarkets, updates every minute and is free. Use it as a cross-venue check: if Polymarket sits well away from Betfair, you have either found something or missed a wording difference, since aggregators do not normalise contract rules. If prices themselves are the puzzle, start with how odds work.

Perps analytics

A perpetual is a leveraged contract that tracks an asset and never expires; funding payments keep its price near the index. Polymarket Perps launched broadly on September 3, 2026, with up to 20x leverage on crypto, the S&P 500, oil, gold and silver and 10x on single stocks. Base-tier fees are 0.0400% taker and 0.0125% maker on notional, falling with 30-day volume; funding settles hourly, capped at plus or minus 4% per hour.

Perps has its own public API at api.perpetuals.polymarket.com covering instruments, tickers with open interest and funding state, order books, candles, trades and funding history, with no credentials needed to read. As of September 2026 its instruments endpoint lists 67 tradable instruments: 36 equity, 24 crypto, 4 commodity and 3 index, all on a one-hour funding interval. Maximum leverage is set per instrument, not per asset class — crypto instruments there run from 3x to 20x, so the headline is a ceiling, not a default.

Our Perps screener shows price, funding and open interest together and the calculator prices liquidation, fees and funding; the hub, fee schedule, country eligibility and risk cover the rest.

Eligibility is the first filter: order placement is not permitted from the United States, Canada, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk. Outside those you can open Polymarket Perps, though as of September 2026 the docs still describe Perps as early access requiring a valid referral link or code, and availability depends on your jurisdiction; routing around a geographic block violates the terms. Leverage plus hourly funding can liquidate you before your view has time to be right.

On-chain explorers and wallet labels

The international platform settles on-chain, so wallet-level history is public.

Arkham, which describes itself as "Deanonymizing the Blockchain", advertises a PnL-ranked leaderboard sortable by profit, ROI, win rate or volume, "20+ Polymarket tags across hundreds of thousands of addresses", live positions, cross-wallet tracing and custom alerts. Its site does not publish pricing, so check the tier first.

Dune is the SQL layer: normalised datasets across 130+ chains with published dashboards, including prediction market data for Polymarket and Kalshi. Its curated positions table holds one row per day, address and token with balance, price and USD value — the cleanest way to see what a wallet held on a date without running an indexer.

Labels are inferences, not facts: being wrong about who is behind a wallet is a good way to talk yourself into a bad trade, and one trader can run several wallets, so one address is rarely the whole position.

Polymarket's own APIs, free and underused

  • Gamma API (gamma-api.polymarket.com) — public, read-only, no authentication: market discovery and metadata.
  • CLOB API (clob.polymarket.com) — public reads for prices and order books. Placing orders takes two layers: an EIP-712 message signed by the wallet, then requests signed with API credentials using HMAC-SHA256.
  • Data API (data-api.polymarket.com) — trades, holders, open interest, live volume, and trader and builder leaderboards; private account data needs authentication.
  • WebSockets — a public market channel for book and price changes, new markets and resolutions, plus an authenticated user channel.
  • TypeScript and Python SDKs are documented.

    Directories and community sources

LaunchPoly is a directory of third-party Polymarket tools: 138 across 14 categories as of September 2026, led by Analytics (82) and Trading (74). Every listing is checked before it goes live, and rankings run on weekly trader votes; paid Boost and Launch Packages buy badged featured slots that LaunchPoly says never displace the vote-based leaderboard. Treat the badged slots as advertising and the directory as a shortlist, not a verdict.

It also states the rule worth repeating: listed tools "work through the Polymarket API or wallet signatures — never your private keys." No analytics tool needs your seed phrase.

PolymarketFlow: what is free, and the honest limits

Everything of ours above is free: whale tracker, alerts feed, biggest bets, screener, movers, leaderboard, calendar, odds pages and the Perps tools. There is no paid tier. The limits, plainly.

  • Our data covers the global Polymarket platform. Polymarket US is a separate CFTC-regulated exchange for event contracts with no perpetuals, so if you trade there our data is a reference point, not your order book — see Polymarket US explained.
  • We rank wallets and positions, not identities. For entity labels and cross-wallet tracing, use an explorer.
  • We are affiliate-funded: you can open Polymarket through our link where availability allows, and the main platform is not available to US residents for trading. We have no Polymarket US affiliate link, so US readers should go direct and use the free tools here.
  • Putting it together: a repeatable workflow

  • Check what resolves in the next 31 days, then screen on volume, price and anomalies and scan the 24-hour movers.
  • Cross-check against another venue where one exists, reading both sets of rules first.
  • Check who is on each side: largest holders, the week's biggest new positions, then those addresses in an explorer.
  • Set alerts instead of watching screens.
  • On a Perps trade, price the carry before the direction — funding, open interest, fee tier, liquidation price.
  • Write down why you took the position, so you can tell later whether the tool helped.
  • No stack removes risk: a position can lose its full value, fees eat frequent trading, and leverage compresses the time you have to be right.

    Frequently asked questions

Is there a free Polymarket whale tracker?

Yes, several. Our whale tracker and alerts feed are free, and Polywhaler's free tier includes its live feed, watchlists and leaderboard. The underlying data is public too — Polymarket's Data API publishes the largest holders for each outcome token. Free rarely means complete — history depth and API access sit behind paid tiers.

    Does Polymarket have an API?

Yes, and most of it is public. Gamma handles market discovery, the CLOB API serves prices and order books, the Data API covers trades, holders, open interest and leaderboards, and public WebSocket streams carry live updates. Perps has its own API. Reading needs no credentials; placing orders requires an EIP-712 signature plus HMAC-SHA256-signed credentials.

What is the best tool for Polymarket Perps?

For raw data, Polymarket's own Perps API is what everything else is built on. For decisions, the pairing that matters is a screener showing funding and open interest next to price plus a calculator for liquidation, fees and funding — what our Perps tools do. Check the per-instrument leverage cap rather than assuming the headline maximum.

Can I use Polymarket tools from the United States?

Reading analytics is not trading, so the tools are not the issue. Trading is: the main platform is not available to US residents, Perps blocks order placement from the United States and Canada, and Polymarket US offers event contracts rather than perpetuals and is not available in every state. Circumventing those restrictions violates the terms.

PolymarketFlow may earn a commission when you sign up through links on this site. This is not financial advice; trading involves risk and availability depends on your jurisdiction.
